OK it is Saturday night and my mind is blank.
Several times I opened up the WordPress CMS page to began my blog earlier in the evening and then closed it. I had two glorious weeks off of staying up very late and sleeping in even later and now I am paying the price.
My son’s resumed his high school schedule and I went back to teaching. Who ever came up with the great concept of having to get up before the sun has risen?
I did get to finally paint my cow painting I have been wanting to. It was a small loose study of pastel colors. The attached picture is not my new painting because I forgot to take my camera to the studio, but an older cow painting from a few years back. Next week I will post my new one.
My goal this week is to get some good dairy cow photos and work on a more large developed painting.
I keep using the same old photos and they are so coated in paint the cows are disappearing.
In one of my earlier posts I had mentioned that we were considering moving to Sebastopol. After about a month of researching, checking out homes that are available and looking at our finances, we decided it was not meant to be.
There is some relief in this decision because packing our home of twelve years would have been stressful. The big catch is my next semester of grad school starts in February and I now have to figure out additional ways to get my son to school.
As for my 2010 goal of mini triathlon and Italy, I did manage to eat healthy all week and go to the gym.
I am looking forward to a healthier, happier 2010.
