The Poet’s and Writer’s website has a comprehensive database of Writing Contests, Grants, and Awards for writers that include details about creative writing contests–including poetry contests, short story competitions, essay contests, awards for novels, and more–that they’ve published in Poets and Writers Magazine during the past year.
One great thing about their database is that they carefully review the practices and policies of each contest before listing them. Â You have to be very careful not to get taken by writing contest scams.
