My dream to help women heal their self-esteem through photography walks a fine line between being empowering and representing an unrealistic ideal. Today I’m sharing a video of the step by step process I use to edit a photo. It’s the Goldilocks of Photoshop tutorials, not too much, just enough Photoshop.
I’m using myself as the model because if I’m going to show blemishes magnified it’s not nice to use a friend or client. And no one should ever see their skin magnified. Ladies, throw your magnifying mirrors away. If you have to look that closely to pluck, no one else is going to see a stray hair.
