In my dream to heal with photography I meet SO many women who base fears and dislikes about their bodies on what they see in catalogues and magazines. Target is under fire for a terrible Photoshop job that butchered (at least) two beautiful women to give them an unnatural thigh gap. I love that people are getting angry to realize that products are sold to us under false pretenses. If we get angry enough they’ll stop doing this.
Honestly the way they cut parts out make her nether regions look more like a Barbie doll than a human. They removed part of her vagina folks! Labia are defenseless! They won’t hurt you! I promise. Labia. Say it with me, now: laaaaabia.
In this short video I go behind the scenes to recreate what I believe happened in the Target photoshop fail.
