You know that promise I made all the way back (last week) about the site being up? I forgot to take my own advice, that I always give my clients, and just get something out there.
So in lieu of an actual ecommerce site for the world to see, I did research. Where can I find wholesale jewelry supplies – and why am I just now considering looking into this? Can the cutters I’m thinking about buying cut through titanium wire? Why do I have so much titanium wire?
I’ve found great resources for retail supplies locally, with Legendary Beads being my favorite to get lost in for an afternoon. A great online resource with ties to my son Jake’s new favorite obsession (medieval fighting) is The Ring Lord. Some supplies and cool tools with a ton for anyone interested in chain mail.
After more online research, I believe I found my wholesale resource, but if anyone out there has a vendor they know, like and trust, please share!
Thanks to everyone who offered fun, inspirational and whimsical names for my latest beaded necklace. The official winner is Danelle’s suggestion “Cherries On Ice”. I loved the ideas and I’m thinking about designing around some of the other names!
Let your ideas sparkle this week, Heather
