My dreams have a life of their own and the process is fascinating and frustrating all at the same time. I went to a psychic once who told me to quit giving birth to kids and start giving birth to my dreams. I quickly discovered that there is a huge difference between dreams and ideas.
I have great ideas every five minutes . . . I’m like a sail boat at the mercy of a bitchy wind . . . pulling me in one direction and then another. I now know that all this pushing and pulling is part of the game. Some kind of a divine plan to reach my goals.
I woke up one day, maybe a year ago with a prayer in my head. I say it every morning while I’m running around feeding dogs, doing dishes, signing field-trip papers and doing laundry. You know the drill.
I’m going to share it with you and my hope is that it will inspire you to stop in the face of all the stimulation life is constantly throwing at you, just for a moment and choose life your way.
Dear God, Goddess and the powers that be
Please protect, guide and watch over me
So I can do what needs to be done
Because I know in my heart I’m the only one
Who can Divine intuitively
from the river of infinite possibility.
