I had plans, lots of dream plans this week. Yes-siree-bob, I was going to another writing class on Thursday night and writing 500 – 1000 words a day. I was also doing more research on a specific writing contest and selecting a story to submit. Yep, those were the plans; that was the vision.
I didn’t accomplish a single one. I could sit here and say . . . there was . . .
I came down with a bad case of shingles. It’s painful and emotionally draining but I try not to complain.
A family friend passed away on Friday. How can I write when all I want to do is sit and cry? I hate crying. It just seems like such a waste of time and energy.
Crying makes my face peel. A complaint coming not from vanity but from the discomfort associated with the healing. Does anyone else suffer from this odd problem?
So I’m a crying, face peeling shingle wearing dreamer . . . and what do you do when life has you down? You look for some motivation or some inspiration wherever you can find it! We share our ups and downs of dreaming on this website, but I can’t leave you without a way to move past what is currently happening in my life.
Tony Robbins videos are always a good place to start when wanting to change our thoughts and move away from our negative thinking.
