Courage is defined as having mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand fear. Les Brown, top motivational speaker, speech coach, and best-selling author says,
“A lot of people do not muster the courage to live their dreams because they are afraid to die.”
In the following video Les Brown makes the point that courage is action no matter the fear. All you have to do is take one small step. Where do you find your courage to take the small step?
Courage is not the absence of fear, courage is the judgment that what you want is more important than your fear. For example, courage is when the judgement of providing for your family becomes more important than your fear.
Just listen to what Les has to say about courage –
Take that first step right now, even if the motivation isn’t there. Do one thing, just one small thing, and find your judgement place where it becomes to important to you that you ignore your fear.
Do your dream in spite of the fear.
